Terms of Service
What you get, what we promise, and how it works — in plain language.
The service
AIDoesWork provides AI workers — software agents that perform specific job roles for your business. When you hire a worker, you get: a configured AI worker set up for your company, access to a console where you can see and approve your worker's output, and ongoing operation of that worker — it checks in and works throughout the day. A worker is not a human employee. It is software that acts in an employee-like role: it reads what you give it access to, it drafts and prepares work, and it waits for your approval before anything is sent, posted, or committed.
What you pay
You pay a flat monthly fee for each worker you hire. The price is the price listed on our pricing page at the time you sign up — we will tell you before any price change takes effect for your account. Payment is by invoice. You can cancel any time; your worker stops at the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
What we promise
We promise that: your worker will be available and checking in during business hours (New Zealand time, Monday to Friday); your data will not be used to train our models or any other customer's worker; your data will not be sold; you can revoke your worker's access to your accounts at any time, yourself, and it takes effect immediately; and if something goes wrong on our side, we will tell you honestly and fix it as fast as we can.
What we need from you
To make your worker effective, you need to: give it accurate information about your business and how you work during setup; grant it access to the accounts it needs (email, calendar, billing system, files); review the work it produces — you are responsible for what gets sent under your name; and tell us if something is not working the way you expect. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
The approval step
Everything your worker writes or prepares — emails, messages, payment instructions, reports — is a draft until you approve it. Nothing goes out without your click. You are responsible for reviewing drafts before approving them. AIDoesWork is not liable for the content of communications you approve and send, or for decisions you make based on your worker's output.
Account connections
Your worker connects to third-party services (Microsoft 365, Google, and others) through standard OAuth, using credentials you provide or consent to. You can revoke those connections at any time from your Microsoft, Google, or AIDoesWork console settings. We do not store your third-party account passwords.
Cancellation
You can cancel your worker at any time from your console. Your worker stops at the end of the current billing period. We will confirm cancellation by email. Within 30 days of cancellation, your data is deleted from our systems. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Liability
AIDoesWork provides software tools that assist with business tasks. To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, AIDoesWork is not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; losses arising from your failure to review work before approving it; or losses arising from your misuse of the service or failure to secure your account. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
The work your worker produces for you — drafts, reports, summaries, and other output — belongs to you. The AIDoesWork platform, the worker software, and our brand and marks belong to us. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the worker software or platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of New Zealand.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will email you at the address on your account at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using the service after the change date, you are accepting the updated terms.
